A home that shows well WILL get a higher price and sell faster - it's a proven fact. Obviously you've got to do the right things and don't spend money on all the wrong fix-ups and improvements.
In each of the following examples, the first step was us doing the Room-By-Room Review to give the seller a concise list of cosmetic-only tasks they needed to complete before putting their home on the market.
The first video example is of a townhouse in King West. The initial step was decluttering, the second was getting the cosmetic repairs completed and finally the staging to make the home appealing to the buyer demographic who would be interested in that particular style of condominium.
This Seller Rented Furniture To Enhance Her Vacant Property.
In the following video, you'll see how one of our sellers rented furniture to help a buyer see how a vacant home could look after being repainted.
Stagers Changed Colours And Rearranged Furniture
Another happy client in the Beach decided it was time for them to move to their dream home. Cindy and Mike had done some renovations to their existing home over the last several years and had added their own decorating touches.
The staging company we recommended suggested some paint colour changes and some furniture re-arranging as well as some down-sizing of existing belongings in the home. The changes were dramatic!
Take a look at the video of what the home ended up looking like. It too sold in short order for about $25,000 more than what Cindy and Mike had expected.
Do you need to stage the whole house? Ideally yes but you can get by with staging just the principal rooms. Staging the key rooms however is very important.
Our Stagers Also Took Care Of The Fix-Ups
In the home you'll see from the link below, the sellers had already moved out of the country. The staging company took over and painted where necessary, changed kitchen cabinet door handles and did all the nitty-gritty things that were necessary to turn a bare house into an attractive home.
They then supplied all the furniture to impact the buyer's emotions the most.
